The opening and closing of the valve are controlled by changing the polarity of the wiring: the valve closes when the red wire is connected to the positive electrode and the black wire to the negative electrode, and opens when the polarity is reversed. Water meter gate valve gear motor, on the other hand, uses the air source pressure acting on the pneumatic diaphragm to drive the valve stem movement, realizing the opening and closing operation of the valve. When the air source pressure disappears, the spring force returns the valve stem to its original position.
